The power of good design.

Since 1959 Vitsœ has made long-living furniture - always striving to be better rather than newer.
The name Vitsœ comes from the company's founder, Niels Vitsœ. Together with Otto Zapf he established the company to realise the furniture designs of the leading industrial designer of the 20th century, Dieter Rams. Dieter Rams asked himself the vital question: is my design good design? The book 'The power of good design' outlines his answer in the ten principles for good design. You can get this great booklet in one of Vitsœ's stores in New York, London or Munich.

'Vitsœ stands for the inordinate power of good design in everything it does, both in its business and its furniture.'
